Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Taps Fintech For Tax Optimization Software

Morgan Stanley has partnered with LifeYield to give its wealth managers access to software that streamlines reviews of their clients’ total household holdings to implement tax-efficient strategies. 

Under the deal, LifeYield’s Advantage Suite software as become “an integral component” of Morgan Stanley Wealth Management’s goals planning system, the firm said in an online statement. The tool is available to the group’s 16,000 advisors. 

“We have invested significantly in technology, partnering with a network of cutting edge firms to assist our financial advisors as they help their clients achieve their financial goals,” said Jed Finn, chief operating officer of Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. “This technology gives a financial advisor a quicker, more efficient method to review a client’s multi-account portfolio and recommend strategies designed to help improve after-tax returns.”
